Good to see that the Rudd Government is tackling head on the big issues affecting Australia at the moment.
Julia Gillard's partner (a former hairdresser) has been appointed as one of six mens health ambassadors by the Federal health minister.
Obviously he is eminently qualified to be a health advocate, being a hairdresser rather than a doctor, dentist, surgeon or some other professionally trained person.
And obviously the fact that he is defacto with the Deputy Prime Minister has absolutely no bearing on his appointment.
