Since when did "flatten the curve" become "eradicate the virus at ALL costs"Flattening the curve implies there is a curve that is to be flattened.

20 cases a day in Victoria?It would take 871 years to spread to the Victoria population at that rate.
How flat do you want the curve to be?Unless we see some serious acceleration, or cases increasing over 1000 per day, there is no need for any sort of lockdown.

Hand washing, social distancing, general awareness is all that is required to "flatten the curve".
