'tis strange, the arguments for and against fundamentals, adn whether volatility is good or bad...

Personally, I find fundamentals get confusing... so many differnt opinions and sometimes the market does the complete opposite of the opinions...

the huge upswing on the dow on open last night.. no idea what the fundamentals were.. think announcement of new bailout package or something, but there were footprints all over the chart saying turn imminent and powerful.

Likewise with volatility... it is brilliant for an ADD "sufferer" like me... so many moves in a night.

And good moves too.

I'm still a big learner, particularly for larger time frames... but for me this volatility and uncertainty is a dream... so long as I keep my wits about me.

I am more inclined to "fear" a lack of volatility.. where I must hold positions for more than an hour...

but I am learning that skill... slowly.
