You are right about almost everything, except that QF could not hit $2. Firstly, QAN was $1 about 6 yeRs ago, due to "debt worries", even though sales and cash flow were high. Second, the government is not obliged to bailout investor equity losses. QAN is burning cash, with no end in sight. Without jobkeeper plus waiving of government charges then SP would be cash cash burn affected.
There is still money in air freight. Qantas should consider converting some aircraft to pure freight operations.
