As I said - I need to trawl through and update my knowledge on AME's particular story, so might not have the full picture yet, but management seem to have some credibility problems, and the ASX isn't a regulator so they don't care, ASIC is a regulator but they are so incompetent that I wouldn't trust them to run a kindergarten cake stall, let alone the financial market, so that leaves the FIRB - which seems to have had a very busy time lately! Totally aware of the historic background to Aus and China relations and investment and agree with you that this must play a part in explaining whats going on.
