Another item brought me here, as I’m interested in what local biotechs are doing in Covid. Interesting hypothesis for this drug. But it’s joining a stack of other companies that have poured in with new or old repurposed drugs targeting multiple parts of inflammatory path. AZ’s BTK inhibitor is also following similar concept of targeting the path upstream and have released some positive early results.
Some running into problems too of recruitment as infections reduce in number of countries, Ukraine and Moldova unusual choices but hopefully they’ll recruit and provide good quality data . It’s not clear from study what treatments in background will be allowed that could confound results for NOX.
Why is it being used as suppository?
