"Argonaut executive director Matt Selby, who has been working with Hanking, said it was disappointing that NRW had failed to engage over the company’s plans and voted against a proposal which he believed was “clearly superior”.

Hah!

They were a bit too clever, leaving it to the last minute thinking that would increase their chances.

Good on JP and the NRW team - as usual, playing a steady hand, prioritising existing developed relationships with the Admins and existing DOCA team. Not willing to jump ships for a little extra money up front.

As I've said before, NRW will come out of this with some extra cash when the exit they GCY equity position. Maybe to pay down debt, for a dividend, maybe even to acquire one some of Downer mining services that are now apparently going to be sold off in bits and pieces!
