One possible scenario I can picture is a general rally up to Obama's inauguration in January - with hope his new team can get the US back on track. But I wouldn't be suprised if the DOW crashed again soon after once the new team get full access to the books and tell the world the US financial system is screwed even worse than they thought (although maybe it can't get much worse!)
