I'm not laying it at Penn's door or even the major part although his management has delivered much of the same.
Roll back 10-15 years and they had more cards and options than just about any company on the ASX. You name it: Cash to burn, customer reach (Sensis, Retail and Business), the best position to leverage relationships with the tech giants, strategic opportunity (SouFun). It's not a case of "look at the growth" it's a case of what's left?
And what did shareholders get during all this? Dividends, debt and company decline.
