The average one takes 10-15 years to develop. Yes we have a huge amount of resources pouring into research for this, but there is no way to speed up the process for knowing long term complications. The Coronavirus family have been around since the 30s and there has been no vaccine or cure made for any of them in 90+ years.

The only short term I can see happening is a treatment that makes COVID similar to the flu in terms of number of infections/hospitalizations/deaths etc. E.G. MSB and their stem cell treatment.

That is going to the airline industry the hand it needs to get the ball rolling but like you said, we have to wait until trails prove an effective treatment - not a cure/vaccine. In the mean time its washing our hands and spraying zoono

You honestly think it takes 10-15 years to develop a vaccine?

I personally don’t think a vaccine will happen, covid is here to stay. We will learn to live with it and those vulnerable will need the appropriate medical care. It is the overwhelming of medical facilities that is the problem. The virus itself is manageable and processes and treatments are getting better daily. All it takes is a media narrative flip, which we have seen and travel stocks will once again be moving upwards.

I’m in a position where I’m fortunate enough to hold this long term, what happens during this volatility really doesn’t matter.
