Consider the downside risks first. if you’re considering long/medium term holds then I would compare the management teams, esp the Geo’s CV’s and their experience in delivering gold resources to market. Who gives you the most confidence going forward? What if these projects underwhelm? Which team is most likely to have continued success based on previous experience? Whose capitalised to deliver quickly and maintain an evolving story?

RXL’s gold play is Brownfields, like DEG’s smaller Mallina deposits albeit with much more prospective intersections. Old mines being re-examined. Areas reasonably already well drilled out to 80-120m. Hemi is Greenfields, brand new and shallow. the size of a major airport & open in many directions, surrounded by other intrusions with 100km’s of shear zone still to be explored. RXL doesn’t have a prospect like this, as far as I know.

Brownfields are probably easier to permit and faster to turn into production though.

until recently RXL were primarily Nickel explorers. I held for a few years. They wasted years on Fisher East which isn’t overly high grade, so I’m tainted but wish RXL all the success. RXL may become like DEG but they’re 3-4 years behind and arguably don’t have anywhere near the proven Geo experience in gold. Do they have any JORC reserves on the books?

Could you in the short term flip and make more $$$ in an explorer with a much smaller MC?

Yep, no doubt. At higher risk though.
