If this was indeed the Board's intended thinking - spurred on by an attitude of "hey, this is a good opportunity to fill up the kitty ... based on never letting a good crisis go to waste"... rather than "what are our options for assisting humanity" then I will be genuinely surprised because this is not one of the Company values that I invested into.
On the above basis, I suspect your comment is somewhat tongue in cheek!
