If they don't then a resource as great as Rossing SOuth will be of interest to many others. It is not a question of the interest being there, it is a question of how much is it worth?

But let me ask you this since I have answered your question. Will RIO let the Rossing facility wither away and be shut down? That leaves them with only the Ranger mine.

Is it not logical that such a large and rich deposit so close to their facility is exactly what they need to extend the mine life by many decades?

Again, it is not a matter of whether or not RIO will make an offer, it is only a matter of what that offer will be.

But nothing in life is certain so if that is what you are looking for put your money in the bank and leave it there.
