I agree Mogga. The Roman cult 'claims' to be God's ecclesia on earth. I do not believe that to be true.
The invisible church is the true church. The church (the saved) are not made by the declarations of man, but rather the act of God through Christ. Again, salvation is NOT a work of mankind...I can't emphasise that vital truth enough! Do you see why this is so very important? It destroys all the pretences of religious authorities. It kills their monopoly on salvation...indeed redemption never belonged to them anyway. God dispenses his own gifts to mankind directly by faith in his Son. No Pope has the keys! Christ has them!
Interestingly, the Bible also says that the devil masquerades as an angel of light. The best trick of evil (devils and humans alike) is to claim sainthood whilst doing their evil in the shadows and under the cloak of religious pretence.
You are right to pick out the hypocrisy of religious institutions. However, this does not blight or negate the claims and works of Jesus. I simply encourage anyone who is interested to know and experience grace, to go to the source of that grace, Jesus the Messiah. Go to the source and don't let the so called 'intermediaries' (for they are not) discourage you.
