Mind you, Jannette Howard was/is a patron of the National Portrait Gallery. I have no idea what her credentials were/are for that. No doubt an honorary position.
Interesting to note that Thérèse Rein is now the Chief Patron.
I note from the NPG web site that Peter Yates Managing Director, Allco Equity Partners Ltd, is on the board. Was he on there because he was a successful businessman? Maybe Eddy Groves could take over from him.
