APT Vs A2M"The Afterpay IPO.
Afterpay has been listed on the Australian share market for just a touch over four years. Its shares landed on the ASX boards on May 4 2016 for $1.00 per share. This gave it a market capitalization of $125 million."
A $100k investment into their IPO would be worth $6,000,000 today.
The same $100k invested into A2M on its Aus listing in 2015 at 50c would now be worth $3,754,000
Got to give credit where its due and APT has comfortably outperformed us since its listing. Thanks @h00ts for bringing up APT share price in March on a regular basis to give everyone who saw it but chose not to buy into it heartburn.
I had the opportunity to buy in but could not bring myself to put our hard earned A2M gains at risk on a stock that had plunged over 75%. Its a disruptor in their industry just like A2M is in our dairy industry with a unique point of difference. I still think from this point on both companies look to have plenty of blue sky above them, time will tell which will outperform from this point on.
