All this celestial monarch stuff is at best concepts from 2,000 years past. No concepts of God are real. The sacrifices, slaughter and burnt offerings are all human rituals derived from pure imagination. We can dismiss all ritual and ancient imaginings concerning the nature of God. When people are not trained to think there is an abundance of ritual and God is personified to fit the culture of each religion.
If we are going to consider the possibility of a force we call God, or indeed dismiss God completely, it must come from the best understandings of science and reason, perhaps with a tincture of philosophy thrown in, not from mainstream or fundamentalist religion's point of view.
If creation took place it did so via natural order. If there is a causing, governing force it is inherent in natural order. The questions that arise are, can a natural order system be self-arising, can our present order arise from the birth of a universe, can it produce life as a byproduct of the system itself, can it produce sentience as a further byproduct via systems of transmutation (evolution) to unfold degrees of complexity in lifeforms? Answer that and then we can either remove God completely from the picture, or not altogether just yet.
