Hard to figure out if AVL are focused on just a good plan today, or more the pursuit of a perfect plan (plus other distractions) tomorrow. Many comparisons can be made to other similar companies taking a faster approach to potentially higher value tasks. Time will tell - Price of V still a major factor here, so any optimisation would de-risk that considerably.
