Yes he really does, why are these people given a platform to speak about things they haven't studied? They only achieve scare mongering and division of society. This really hasn't helped its just made everyone either for or against it
By his own admission he got it wrong the first time around. Maybe because he didn't understand it? Does he really understand it now?
You can be able to read and understand a particular study/data but come to a widely incorrect conclusion because you haven't taken other things into account. That's why people who haven't studied the area should be taken with a grain of salt. How many doomsday predictions have already fallen over?
For example all those people saying that because the flu deaths have been decreased from last year (pretty easy to understand) therefore hospitals must be reporting flu deaths as covid deaths, therefore covid doesn't exist or it isn't that bad . You can understand how someone came to that conclusion. When in reality yes flu deaths may have decreased but that would probably be because of social distancing, personal hygiene, lock downs, isolation etc etc
Climate change is like that but on a 1000x more complex scale.
I'm not for one side or another on this topic, because its an incredibly complex topic and I dont ever hope to understand it fully, but my point being is that only appropriately qualified people should be allowed to have an opinion on topics like this.
