I hadn't thought of counter current acid/solids flow, exciting really. Bending my brain getting the liquid to flow opposite to the solids flow at a rate that balances it just right to get the outcome required. Not my forte but I've a glimmer of how it might be accomplished. That could get it above 99%. Hmmm "verrry interesting" as that old 60's comedy show use to say.
No matter what, I think Austpacs 98% outcome will get close enough for metal much more cheaply and more effectivley than anything else availalbe right now, whether BHP need to tack on part of "Snowstorm" to get "Polar" working is just fine tuning, it means Austpac must be close to "essential" technology to the titanium industry's future (IMHO).
