True, they are $10 . mth higher than domestic competitors, and may well become the Holden of Broadband. As the global competition is launching from 2020 in USA and globally in 2021 via Star link, who is competing against Viasat with prices at US$30/mth for 12Mbps. You can already see Star Link coverage overnight in Australia. This price is for an LEO earth station so it may well be shared between the community as the competitors are focusses on the "unbanked" equivalent in Broadband.
I expect that most domestic ISP's will eventually be overtaken by global players like Viasat today or Star Link tmw.
Their mobile offer is uncompetitive at present, and no handset from Apple, Samsung, etc.
