Guys I still can’t see how news of refinancing will cause OZL to rally. There are just too many other questions which have now been raised by all this media etc speculation, mainly as to cash burn and profitability. What did happen to the billion plus dollars OZL was supposed to have? Until management answers all these questions in a satisfactory manner I can’t see a rally in SP.
Medium to long term I think OZL will be fine but short term why would anyone want to buy a Co that “appears” to be in this much trouble when there are so many other opportunities out there without the baggage. This really is the wrong market to have these sorts of questions raised in and I doubt that management will be able to restore confidence in a day or two.
In order to rally we need buyers to jump on and I can’t see a single reason at the moment to take the chance on a Co whose management is now in serious question. The other issue I am also wondering about is what is going to happen to the divi now? If it is cut back substantially I can’t see the big players holding but I can see them selling out.
BTW I do hope I am very wrong so fingers crossed.
