Given the current status of creation, I suspect that this is not the best option.

A fine response and I thank you for taking the time to reply.

Now this, current status of Creation, is an imagine process gleaned from a Bronze Age introduction to the processes of natural order. It spoke eloquently to the capacity of the times, today if taken literally it's the ramblings of a simpleton I don't have a clue how we got here, but I think there is a Cause behind it, because as I have said many time before, I can't get my head around a self-perpetuating universe, life, sentience, etc.

Regardless of what I think, my thoughts can only be vague generalisations. I have no real conviction, just enough to argue for some type of Cause to be included in the list of possibilities. I think that Creation and natural order / evolution, are the same thing. The only thing I accept with some certainty is the proofs expounded by science.

Every age has its challenges. This age has the greatest challenge that will ever confront humanity, that being globalisation. We will be sorely tested before we come out that other side. We are in the early pangs of becoming a global society and the cultures and isms are rubbing up against each other like tectonic plates sending earthquakes all over.

I get why the good folk get a bit doomsdayish, but what possible service to humanity can such nonsense serve. If we all join their religion it becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.

Have you ever seen the Illustrated Man? A community all dream the same dream of some impending, catastrophic event, so they all agree to poison their children in their sleep so they don't suffer. When the adults wake in the morning nothing has happened, except the catastrophic event was them killing all their children for the sake of a dream. That's what these doomsday cults do, they poison the minds of their children with negativity. All of humanities problems will be solved by humans.
