They are pretty much worthless.

but I agree that the new generation is probably too lazy to dig for gold or they
just don’t have the time because of staring at their screens to
look at their bitcoins. How can it be that in times of climate change
„currencies“ need as much energy to be „calculated“ as whole nations consume in years ?

digging for gold is way more environmentally friendly . And if a sunstorm destroys
the cryptoserver? How can crypto „data“ ever be safe ? What happens to the
wallets in case of a EMP ?
