The carbon neutrality is only important so far as qualifying for the grant. However, it is largely a side show (a nice to have but not a must have).

The key driver (wrt financial feasibility) is the opportunity to reduce import dependence on Urea, for several reasons...

• as noted: >95% of urea is imported. There is an increasing trend (Post COVID-19) for national self-sufficiency, particularly weening the country off China which has unzipped the cuddly Pander suit to reveal a narcissistic nationalistic wolf.
• Happily, LCK can achieve not just import replacement but cost reduction at the same time.
• Hydrogen is a side benefit however growing in interest. But, the project stacked-up even before Hydrogen became a thing.

I am pretty bullish on LCK - despite having followed this thing up and down the roller coaster for nearly 4 years now, ever since I got given the tip "think you need to have a look at this" from a bloke I met in the pub (which is where the best share market tips come from RIGHT?)

Speaking of stupidity. The current obsession with all things climate change (previously known as Global Warming [they thunked-up a new name because it became increasingly obvious that some places in the world were showing an inconvenient trend downward]) is heading toward a more mature discussion. Hah Hah - did i just write that?

Expect to see the world starting to view it as "business as usual" rather than an alarmist "we'll all be killed!!!" teenage woke existential threat.

Some new thinking is starting to emerge, not climate change denial but more mature "climate change coping" based on a realisation that perhaps man's influence is not as great as the masses first thought, that it is hard-wired into the planet, and the alarmists might have exaggerated some of their data for FKW reason.

My solicitor friend tells me that when I write these sort of opinions I should add an appropriate disclaimer...
