Yes, I agree with your broker friends, that the move to $31 should have been broken by a slight retrace, which may or may not happen yet... but the trend is still north irrespective of any pullback.
BHP fell hard, oversold, so the strength of the rebound is equally hard.
And that should be for quite some time.
