@picastoc - I seem to remember that the tax gets less the longer you keep them? I could be wrong. APT strike me as the kind of stock which you will be able to keep for a long time and they will just grow in value? congratulations!

What shocked me in the first year when I made a large profit in the stock market was the fact that I had to pay a large sum in advance of expected profits - or maybe I should have consulted an accountant (who I have now!)
Sad to say, that great performance or luck happened just ahead of the GFC
