Sounds like a few half truths if quoted correctly. A graphite project trying to sell both anode and industrial graphite is still anode competition. Works both ways, a strong industrial offtake could allow reduced pricing on anode products. Synthetic is not going away when it outperforms natural on a like for like basis. The mantra from other graphite plays over the years that natural will dominate and synthetic would just disappear has been shown to be complete and utter one sided BS thus far.

The lower carbon footprint is a big positive for TLG and probably other natural products however it’s just one metric that makes up the car carbon footprint and lifecycle. The TLG anodes still need to perform with Mark finding a dance partner or it’s all just bluster.

Despite the mantra from other graphite plays I do think TLG with just one product does simplify marketing, reduce operational complexity and difficulties getting this deal over the line. Other graphite plays with multiple products across different industries sounds good to the uninitiated for presentations but signing off a bunch of different specs, end users and quantification rounds now sounds like herding grumpy cats imo.
