Quite easily, I trade a lot and I'd probably say more than 50% of my trades are losers these days - just as long as you've got a system to jump out for a small loss. Took 4 trades today, win ~ $5200 on FMG, win ~ $1400 on MGX, win ~ $700 on IPL and lose ~ $150 on CEY.
Not heading in the direction you anticipate? get out immediately, that's one rule I trade by. Another I like doin is to sell 25% parcels into rising momentum, eg. sold FMG at 2.31, 2.54, 2.73, 2.80. Still annoyed at dumping the whole lot of MGX at 0.335 :/
And nothing wrong with chasing rallies, still wishing I'd jumped onto the KZL rocket ship, no guts - no reward :/
