You've got it BH! It dawned on me this morning in flesh crawling, hair-raising way when I realised what 'quantitative easing' actually means. Hard data is shown halfway down Jim Sinclairs website for today. Its clear, they havent issued enough debt to cover the issuance of the dollars.
As for Bernanke buying longer-dated treasuries, could he really be that insane?? Can the Fed actually do this? If they can, how on earth could any self-respecting government actually allow it? Shaking my head in utter disbelief...

Think I'll offer to purchase my home mortgage from my bank with some of them newly issued 'satV' dollars...
