tcei are operator, and i dont agree they are useless myself.
regarding sacking them, not an option, nor even remotely a consideration. TCEI is headed up by Mr Fluor, i would research him a little, you do realise he is on the board of Fluor corp and anadarko, which is a major player in this eagleford /chalks prospect. and also i wouldnt disregard how important TCEI is to this jvp, without them and the jvp's initial foray into the hosston sands, this jvp would not be standing right now. the whole scenario of this jvp being in a prime position in the sugarkane come from a lot of good fortune and hard work by all jvp partners. its all about the sugarkane, and there are partners that only have one real prospect on the go, ADI have two further projects up their sleeves and a lot invested in this sugarkane, i am certain that adi is doing everything to protect its position in the near term and also to make sure that further expansion into other projects is possible.
weston is fully paid for, and imho it would be extremely close to kicking out and drilling away on the lateral.
this is TCEI third lateral attempt, i am of the opinion that what was learned in the first two wells will be taken into consideration and that would greatly enhances the ability for success in this weston wells completion.
