    Hi @frostieshake, hopefully we will see a continued reduction in cases in Cote d'Ivoire;

    enough to allow the resumption of international flights to the country. Domestic air services resumed on June 26 (aligning with a peak and reduction in cases from cases June 19). The government had announced that some international flights were planned to resume from July 1 (possibly delayed to a short jump in cases at end of June). Borders have been closed to movement of persons from March 20 (this included the suspension of visa issuance at the airports for all incoming travellers) but still remain partially open to allow transport of goods. As of 29 June there were no lockdowns or curfews. Road borders and airlines have still offered cargo flights which has allowed for the continuation of construction and announcement of important water projects. As an example, on June 26 the Ivorian Minister of Hydraulics, Laurent Tchagba, announced the construction of the new water supply facilities requiring an investment of €258, to be delivered within 18 months to address water shortages in the city of Bouaké (Veoilia began construction work on June 20). Also, on June 5, the Minister of Construction, Housing and Urban Planning, Bruno Nabagné Koné, launched a €200 project to strengthen the drinking water supply in Zaguinasso, a town in northern Côte d'Ivoire (construction began in June and is expected to be completed within 4 months). These water infrastructure projects are of vital importance to Ivorian society; the commissioning of the Zaguinasso plant, for example, will help to eradicate water-borne diseases and reduce water fetching; which will enable greater economic participation of women, improve health and the schooling rate of girls. With a continued downward trend in case numbers I'm looking for news regarding the opening of some international flights in the next week/fortnight; and this news to possibly front-run a long awaited announcement.

    On a seperate issue, wouldn't it be great if Ramboll chose to partner with Fluence for this project in China? Couldn't hurt PR. It's probably a long shot but knowing Fluence's links with Ramboll, through Cambodia's Sihanoukville project (see https://hotcopper.com.au/posts/44445703/single), it can't be ruled out.
