Hi All
Well I'm gauging my own response, testing the emotional aspects.
1. I'm a little disappointed in one respect. I was hoping for more out of the porphyry sections, it looks they've only just caught it at end of hole, missed on the way through. I thought we'd get more from the section I've outlined roughly here. So either it's low mineralised or there's a lot more to find out about it. I favour the latter - how do you get such mineralised skarns without mineralised porphyries?
2. I'm positive about a couple of things.
a. The size of the skarns. Significantly broader, particularly the main one. The implications of John's commentary are clear, they think they're on to a sound resource just in the skarns, this is a real positive - potential to get a mining operation in play maybe that will fund drilling the bejesus out of all the tenements? Eg like Alkane used cash flow out of Tomingley to find Boda.
b. They're in to porphyry at end of hole. So John hasn't just picked up the scent in the breeze, he's now tracking the footprints.
I think we will be a chance of a sell off here as the results on balance won't satisfy the punters who are currently chasing the hot money around the gold sector. I'll be looking for opportunity to trade it to my own advantage but I'm settled in for the long haul. Perhaps the most significant part of the commentary went off announcement to the updated presentation as follows:
Which leads us to these important peer tables, keep in mind that this hole is almost certainly NOT the best of what John his going to find and strongly go with what you're saying @tlictdig, ie the team are excited. Yes KCC need to present best possible light, they will want to raise capital to drill further in due course, but I found these telling because their commentary so far has been sound and consistent with first results. Thus with Mordialloc visuals and commentary already alluding to better results than Trundle Hole 1, we can ponder where they'll sit against these benchmarks.
Good luck to all holders.
