The information about banning Ian Cook is in your original post within the ACCC media release you copied and pasted.
Spending $4 million to get awarded circa $60k of debts refunded for 6 individuals plus costs is an extremely poor return on investment, even if awarded costs.
Enpower probably didn’t even put up a fight, so the ACCC likely won on default. Now they won’t recoup anything, so another poor return on investment by the ACCC. Winning against a company that no longer exists and doesn’t have assets to pay fines or costs is a essentially a huge loss.
