Leopard textures are observed at Voisey's Bay in Canada and also at Nova. It essentially means Mawson has the right mafic/ultramafic rock chemistry, and processes to form a this style of magmatic Ni-Cu sulfide deposit (ie. High Temperature and pressure intrusion/chonolith-related).

But we already knew that. However, the company could def do a better job of explaining the importance of these observations and providing analogues in their announcements IMO. But that would take effort .

Fwiw leopard textures (matrix sulfide mineralisation) typically form near the margins/contacts of the massive sulfide mineralisation. So on the x-section showing Hole 018 which had the leopard textures in today's announcement, it may represent the edge of the system which is completely open to the east and screaming to be drilled as shown below:
