Might I most humbly suggest to the forum that people are not 'facing the prospect', as they in fact have already lost it, ie. the money (in many cases cash and shares) nearly 9 months ago.
The losing money event has past. Folks are now in the restitution phase for alleged misleading conduct, which resulted in the loss.
