Well that's a weekend plus 4 working days I've given them so I don't think they're considering a reply. This is typical, just typical. Would you expect a civil response from a management that wont stoop to pitching their updates to ordinary investors? You know, to lowly types who haven't spent a lifetime peering at minerals or digging holes?
Opaline, if you read this, I'm in some doubt as to whether they can keep a plant running for 300 days a year. That's close enough to 6 days a week. It requires a processing staff prepared to sustain that, and no serious mechanical breakdowns, or pauses for maintenance.
I have been providing immense psychological support to the share-price by leaving a bid for 30,000 shares at 10c. I'm reviewing that now. Compare the clarity of information coming from Ramelius Resources or Troy Resources. Listen to the M.D of Ramelius on brr. I mean he's not just crystal clear, he comes across with charm. Compare that to the grudging boring taciturnity, and unrelenting technical take from the M.D of Hill End. And those other companies have cash.
Here's my unrequited email dated 29/11/08:
"Hello,
There has been a debate on a share discussion forum as to whether Hill End can produce enough gold to self fund its costs over the next 4 Quarters. I'm hoping that you might help with the guesstimating.
One parameter being guessed at has been the days per annum that the gold plant will be running from this current Quarter forward. Lately we're using the figure of 300 days p.a of plant operation. But it seems to me that this could err on the optimistic side. Is this something you're able to throw some light on?
I am also curious as to what you think could be the average daily throughput over the next 4 reportable Qtrs. I believe the highest so far is about 60t/day. With the cone crusher and ball mill additions, as well as any other improvements, do you think an average tonnage of 100 t/day is a reasonable estimate, and would an average 23g/t of recovered gold grade be close?
Does the company itself believe it will be self supporting over the next 4 reportable Quarters?
Thanks for any clarification that you're prepared to give. I will use any reply on the forum unless you request otherwise.
Regards,
finicky"
