Hi @TomMorleyThe question you asked is a valid one and is one, as other posters have pointed out, probably could only be answered if you work in the industry or subscribe to one of the pricey industry research note (BIS Research).

I am neither someone who has in-depth knowledge of the industry nor cashed up. Accordingly, I am, like many of us here, going by the the company's public announcements, other public information and some amateurish joining the dots.

I recall that there is a lot of useful publicly available information that had been shared over the past few years since I started contributing to the Alcidion HotCopper forum in various forms across different threads. Information sources include: discussion with management and/or Board at AGMs, industry-specific publications, sheer luck via google search, personal experiences etc. Some information might be inaccurate, some might come across as ramping or down ramping

However, the majority is shared with the best of intentions to simply contribute to a more informed and robust discussion. More importantly, no one is compelled to post if they do not wished to. Accordingly, I would not read too much into the lack of responses to your questions. Like many other forums, the content depends on the good will of posters to engage in truthful and open discussion. If a question is not being answered, it does not necessarily indicates that posters are afraid to engage but perhaps they really do not know and do not wished to post any information that may be inaccurate or outside their sphere of knowledge or area of expertise.


Competitive landscape

• there are many competitors, but which segment are you focused on? No doubt that there will be many competitors, some operating in the same key markets but others not. Some operating via reseller arrangements, bolt up or some other form of distribution channels.
• in my opinion, the company maker is not in offering an integrated EMR (many competitors) but in offering an interoperabilityplatform to support a best of breedapproach (emerging preference), real-time data analytics and clinical support/diagnosis.

Market share

• Such information is therefore difficult to estimate, your guess is as good as mine. Perhaps, the company would also one day be willing to provide more visibility over their tender pipelines etc to better keep us informed. But in the meantime, there is some public information that we can keep track of, including the number of hospital beds using Alcidion's product(s), key reference sites/customers
• What I do know is that the customers are sticky and Alcidion has been relatively successful in growing the number of customer base, albeit most are still in its infancy stage (e.g. Healthscope, ACT Health etc).
