My thoughts exactly. I've been a holder since shortly after listing, I watched the AFR media attacks, watched ASIC lay into them, and at that time there were dozens or more posters on HC trashing them as some kind of phony shell company that was lying to people. Unsettling times. If it was unsettling and challenging for shareholders like me, how must it have been for the company directors and executives? I'm not defending or praising them, just stating that I'm sure after taking legal advice they were told to only disclose what was required, nothing more, nothing less. Because every announcement they made was analysed and attacked - and often publicly in the AFR. The outcome of this trial is important, I am hopeful of more announcements and information made available to shareholders whichever way it goes. If GSW wins, I don't expect to see others rushing in to sue them again, I think they will be able to move on and the share price will increase. If they lose, they can pay up and move on, but I would expect the share price to be at least temporarily depressed.
