I think it's worth noting that only a small portion of Afterpay users would be using Afterpay this way. This isn't at all helpful to retailers who would see an increase in basketsize only then to see much of it returned, and on top of that they've paid a margin on all of these products.
This is not at all what makes Afterpay valuable to merchants. Just my two cents.
