I used the Perth Mint's average monthly spot price, compared to the hedge price - we have lost 1.25m roughly and if the trend continues in July and August, will lose out on another half a million.
I look forward to seeing how you will creatively turn these into positive numbers - as is your specialty - wish you could do my taxes - I'd pay nothing!
Like I said, not all small producers hedge, it depends on debts and profit margins, and I dont see why we should - especially in a gold bull market.
