@Justmeanu; you need to distinguish between social democracies and socialism instead of equating them to each other. Countries including Australia, the USA, Japan and France claim to be 'social democracies' in which adult citizens get to vote for political representatives who are supposed to act on their behalf. Most do NOT apply the same processes to their judiciaries; leading to the corrupt, sexist and deeply racist mess now being exposed in Australia.

Of course there is NO such thing as a successful capitalist country and there never will be because in reality they are tyrannies, despotisms and monarchies wherein all wealth and power is concentrated into the hands of a very small privileged elite; explaining why France chopped their heads off and Russia followed suit with its tsars.

Indeed; the closest thing we have to capitalism today is Saudi Arabia, one of the world's most American weaponised, heavily shielded, corrupt and inhumane societies on Earth. In contrast Israel is one of the most socialised countries and also heavily American weaponised, heavily shielded, politically and judicially corrupt and accused of genocidal practices - are you alleging it's a failure?

In contrast; China, Russia, Vietnam and North Korea claim to be Communist states - not socialist ones.
