As an investor you have to decide whether this is a good or bad thing.

Imagine BrainChip has signed a deal with a billion dollar company to put an AKIDA chip in 50 million devices each year and they told the ASX all about the deal you as an investor would know about the deal and be very happy.

Imagine this same deal was done by BrainChip and you were out on your boat fishing and before you could hear about the deal you dropped your phone in the water. The deal is still there but you don’t know about it surely just because you don’t know that does not affect whether the deal is good for the company or you as an investor.

Imagine the same deal and the huge company says to BrainChip we want this deal to be kept secret until we are ready to flood the market with our product containing your chip so we have an advantage over our competitors. Same deal but you still don’t know about it.

What the Chief Financial Officer of BRN has said in this Facebook post is that the companies who have signed up as early access partners have signed up on the basis that their identities will be kept secret. There are probably a range of reasons for wanting to keep it secret the most obvious being they don’t want there competitors to know what they are doing.

As a shareholders you and me want to know who is testing and using BRN’s chip but the company says they cannot tell us who it is because they have signed confidentiality agreements.

So it is up to you to decide based on all the research you have done into the company whether your desire to know is so great that not knowing means you should sell your shares and go and invest in another company.

No one else can make that decision for you.
