I don't agree with that report, but, yes, colours can affect our moods.

A neighbour of mine in Melbourne (when I was living there) painted all the inside walls of his house bright yellow colour. Bright yellow colour would drive me crazy as i find it too strong.

I painted my lounge room walls and ceiling sky blue (for its calming effect), my bedroom walls and ceiling light green, and my study room walls and ceiling light purple (a spiritual colour). How about that for alternative thinking :-)
