Would you love the US as much with one of the hated 'Dems' running the show?
I think the US is falling into disrepair and that's not great for the world.
What the US has unleashed on the world in terms of their creation of the GFC with the crazy antics of Wall Street bankers - and the response of runaway money printing / debt, debt, and more debt / interest rate suppression etc hasn't been great for the world either. The financial system has gone of the rails and is in bizarro land right now.
I don't know how free and safe the US will be if a civil war is raging there. And that wouldn't be good for the world either.
