And I found that tweet where AJM’s Sales manager said the prices outlined in the June government quarterly were not sustainable for Australian spodumene
“The nuances of quality/qualification can’t be understated.
The resulting implication for pricing is key.
Aus SC6-LiHO can’t be sustained at these prices”



That’s in relation (I think) to where it says in the report that prices for Australian spodumene are expected to remain at an average of US$425 pt for at least 18 months and maybe until 2022.
And in that context, if that is the case all Australian shipping will stop.
.......which government does not want to happen so maybe it will subsidise production if low prices continue.

...and the other part of the comment ;

Might just mean exactly that.
Altura really does produce a very high grade product and people traditionally pay more for a premium.
