not sure I even did those for any other reason than testing out whether I still had any change of drawing ever again.
I won’t be aiming for anyone else’s style or approach. I think I learnt long ago, at least with art, that made no sense - though once upon a very long time ago I could do good enough copies as long as there was no colour
I’d just like to be that wild and loose with art. But I’m not so no point trying. Though the idea I had the other day is a bit of a breakthrough for me so I shall see where it leads.
but I do agree a little with zip - others can give you ideas of inspiration and that’s a good thing.
as for your 100 coat hangers. Well we all wait to see what you come up with
i believe that most people have some form of creative spark that has just been dulled over the years because we’ve been taught what art should look like. It might not be good enough for a gallery but the process is good for you. Just starting and keeping going improves your output - it helps the right brain cells fire. It’s the process of self expression. I’ve thrown plenty out but it doesn’t bother me.
