Have to admit I'm feeling quite worried down here in oz too. My dad is due to go into hospital across the border in regional Victoria on the 22nd for elective surgery. As part of that the hospital has requested copies of his Enduring Power Of Attorney and Medical Decision Maker to be taken with him ...so of course me being that nominated person it has again raised that what will I have to face if my dad who has COPD is exposed to Covid ? As if that happens his condition will rapidly deteriorate....he's in his 80's so his chances would be slim at best.

I'm not going to lie here .....absolute truth .....I told my dad straight just yesterday ' if you develop Covid 19 my decision will be to fight all the way to get MSB's stem cells used dad ...because that might give you a fighting chance and you never know it might help the COPD too'.

To say I'm extremely concerned about his upcoming surgery would be an understatement ....might sound wrong to say but I'll admit on one hand I'm kind of hoping they suspend elective surgery in Vic....we live right on the border of NSW and Vic, NSW side ....I'd be lying if I said I'm not really worried about him going to any Vic hospital until they have their outbreak until some semblance of control ....the way it's going they might need those beds for ICU patients around the state

So if I've been a bit quiet on here .....my apologies but had lots to do and lots on my mind ....and yep my folks come first
