On that basis, why isn't Tesla $10,000 a share?? Or $100,000?
At some point, future possible earnings need to be balanced with today's reality.
What happens when the VW group, or Toyota finally bring to bear their deep pockets, extensive global distribution channels, and engineering expertise?
Maybe they will maintain some sort of moat, but history is full of stories like this..
I'm all for innovation, and disruptive companies, but on the other side, I can't help but think that Tesla, and most other US tech companies valuations are pretty frothy atm.. lots of FOMO, and short memories..
