I think most people are under-estimating how LONG cycles can go, and how serious this one really is. Most people only really having 'seen' the last 10 to 20 years and thus see that as the norm. In world economies and in trading/charting.
A lot of common rules and expectations do not exist anymore - new ones will be written. Many already have... but more are to come.

I can't KNOW, but I expect mid 2009 to be about the area of our worst depths (Aust). (RIO $1 by then??? LOL)
The US may even be settled and showing their worst was right now, or a month or so to go. (eg Jan2009).
The window is too wide to call accurately... lets say June to Dec 2009. So if you can afford to trade by then, start the more serious 'to keep' accumulating around May/June or so.
